Voto Latino Innovators Challenge
Deadline: September 10, 2014.
Hasta el miércoles, 00 de de 0000
Do you have an idea for a new tech or digital tool to address an issue in the Latino community? Then, check Voto Latino Innovators (VL) Challenge 2014; a competition for Millennials — ages 18-34 — who want to better the lives of Latinos by creating technological solutions to current challenges impacting their Latino families, neighbors, and communities at large.
Issues that might be addressed include everything from gang activity and gun control, to quality and affordable education, to access to extracurricular activities and afterschool programs, to helping undocumented immigrant students, to access to affordable and quality healthcare, to expanding voting access to Latinos and anything in between.
The VL Innovators Challenge is part of the fifth Digital Media and Learning Competition cycle. Grant support has been provided to the Digital Media and Learning Competition and to research projects, design studies, pilot programs, and experiments in learning applications, assessment and institutional design, structure and approach.
Voto Latino is a nonpartisan organization that empowers Latino Millennials to claim a better future for themselves and their community.
