Annual Report on European SMEs 2018

The General Directorate of Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the European Commission has published the Annual Report on European SMEs 2018, with positive overall results as it presents a continuous recovery of SMEs.

The annual report provides an overview of the size, structure and importance of SMEs in the European economy, as well as an overview of the previous exercise and that foreseen by SMEs from 2008 to 2019. Comparisons are included with partner countries outside the EU and with the large business sector.
